Exasperated

If there’s any feeling more universal than insecurity, it’s probably being utterly frustrated with everyone and everything.

How many times have you gotten your hopes up
How many times have you been excited just to be let down
Believing this time will be different
Believing this time somehow it will all work out

I wish I knew how you face this all with a smile
I would try too if you were to stay with me for awhile
